We investigated how students can communicate their creative ideas about the texts they are reading through the use of Google tours. Part of this investigation was linking what students imagined while reading their novel to scenes in real-world locations. Attendees will explore our students’ models and their reflections on the project, as well as our practice as facilitators of this learning journey on communicating core competencies. Attendees will also have time to start building their own google tour of a book they have used or would like to use for their classrooms. We will also bring some AR/VR headsets for participants to trial their tours.
